![]() Working for The Pink Practice Working for The Pink Practice is a lovely part of my week. I meet people from across different life and work and cultural experiences. People have sometimes asked me if I get depressed by hearing so many people’s problems. But that’s not at all the case. In between the problems people have, it is not difficult to see how amazing people are, how well they cope with what life is or has been throwing at them. The people I meet are inspiring and I enjoy talking with them. These days I mainly offer supervision to some of the therapists at The Pink Practice and act as a consultant and trainer to other organisations. Some core values and beliefs I believe different people and different problems require fluidity in approaches to both therapy and supervision. When I first meet with people, I try to gauge whether they are wanting more of a reflective conversation or suggestions of alternative things to try. Either way, the work has a collaborative feel to it so supervisees or people coming to therapy feel they are influencing the way we are working together. Work I do at The Pink Practice I do three things at The Pink Practice.
Writing and Research Groups for Reflective Practitioners These groups can take place in London or in Yorkshire. They are open to anyone working in the field of reflective practice with people: psychotherapists, counsellors, nurses, social workers, mental health practitioners, teachers, researchers, for example.
